Big Changes For Our Next Chapter Of #PerryAdventures

BIG CHANGES FOR OUR NEXT CHAPTER OF #perryadventures…

Jake has Officially Retired to be a Stay-at-home Dad and make more music!

Not because we have everything perfectly figured out. (But what plans ever go perfectly anyway? 😳)

But because we are choosing to go all in on a life of constantly improving. A life of no regrets, no “woulda coulda shoulda’s.” (Or at least as few as possible!)

If you’re wondering what it took for us to make this leap six years earlier than we planned, I’ll share there have been just as many rocky moments as there are rock solid times to get to this place of belief in ourselves and in this decision.

Here’s a glimpse #bts of our story and what we’ve been through to get here…

Chapter 1: FIRST CAME LOVE

When we started dating 8 years ago, we had both been badly burned by love before.

We chose to heal together, and co-create a relationship by our design.

This phase challenged us to uplevel our communication skills, prioritize shared experiences, and set boundaries in a healthier way.

Chapter 2: THEN CAME MARRIAGE

When we got married, we navigated sharing space, finances, not to mention planning the actual wedding, which provided ample opportunities for us to practice disagreeing respectfully.

My favorite part about this phase was realizing how committed we both were to finding creative win-win solutions, and not caring who thought we were unconventional or even a little bit crazy 😜

Chapter 3: THEN AN EMPTY BABY CARRIAGE

We have moved 3 times and been through 4 miscarriages in our 5 years of married life.

Best friends and family members have died.

Businesses have been sold.

Also, new ventures have been started and 8 (soon to be 10!) nieces and nephews have been born during our relationship.

As we went through the deepest grief as well as some of our greatest joys, areas of massive disconnect between us surfaced.

Disconnect so far and wide from where we had started it often felt impossible to bridge.

But we always fought, scraped, and at times crawled our way back to each other.

Not back to where we’d been, but to an even better place than we could’ve imagined.

There is so much freedom in having seen the worst sides of someone, having them see yours, and still choosing each other.

This phase proved to us just how much we can trust and count on each other, no matter what.

Chapter 4: NEAR DEATH AND NEW LIFE

After I almost died during childbirth, Jake and I decided to double down even MORE on living a regret free lifestyle.

We have leaned on each other more than ever since bringing our precious Mini Perry home.

In between pushing more of each other’s buttons than we knew possible (sleepless nights and new parent fears can do that haha!), we have become stronger as individuals and as a team by building on what we learned in each of our chapters before.

Together, we have a history of winning.

And our plan is to keep doing whatever it takes to keep winning..

Cheers to all of you who have been part of our chapter so far.

I am especially grateful to the friends, family, and clients who will be part of this next chapter!

Chapter 5: RETIREMENT, FULL TIME DAD DUTY, AND MOMPRENEUR ON A MISSION

Officially began 12/20 when Jake completed his last day with the company he spent the last 24 years working for.

I will still be coaching, mostly virtually, and am excited for the opportunity to provide financially for our family by supporting others in achieving success and happier lives, on their terms and however THEY define it.

The rest of our adventure, as always, is:

To be continued…

Thanks for reading, and your continued support & love! Xx // B

PS- This life change also means I now have additional calendar space that I’m excited to open for supporting a few additional clients.

Referrals, or requests for more info are welcome and appreciated!
